Sometimes you blow my mind, Alex. I just dont get how someone can consistantly miss seemingly obvious points over and over.
The only irony in that scenario is the fact that people like you, whom also view reality as a television show, seem to be easily prompted to spawn initial, appetitive (subjective) responses to nothing. Like television, you are poked to jump to an emotional restitution for your perceptions and you feel justified with them. That is the difference between you and Shatzy. You claim that she views her surroundings as that of a television set but she is not living a constant melodrama on daytime tv.

The root of this situation does not involved just what happened on antoher forum over a year ago. What makes the situation "melodramatic" is that Shatzy and I occasionally communicated with each other via e-mail. Shatzy shared some personal info via e-mail in such a way as to imply some type of a connection.

Somewhat close to what one might call an internet friendship. That is what makes the idea of Shatzy lurking and watching me on a neutral forum as I needlessly defend myself over really dumb comments, and viewing these encounters as entertainment, tainted.

When a nemesis from a forum chastizes me for using my name as a link to my own forum, and does it on a forum where the members pretty much visit that one forum on Hostboard and no others, it has an impact.

Just one response from a "lurker" (such as Shatzy) saying..."Excuse me, but using your ID as a link is completely normal and even encouraged by Hostboard".

Just one comment, would have made a world of difference. There were several comments from a select few, that if answered by anyone other than myself, would have quelled the situation. Shatzy was in a position to be that person, but chose to watch the situation as if it were a television show.

Shatzy has now said that all I ever was was entertainment to her. I do recall her on a few occasions in the past saying "You amuse me" after I had posted or e-mailed something funny.

I now see that statement in a new light.
